The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) IV-A partnered with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) IV-A for the successful provision of financial assistance for parents of child laborers during a payout conducted at Rosario, Batangas, on March 10.
Prior to the release of Php 3,000.00 financial assistance, the personnel of DSWD IV-A already conducted the pre-evaluation of the beneficiaries during the Child Labor Prevention and Elimination Program (CLPEP) information and service caravan held last February 20, 2025. After the screening through pertinent documents and interviews, 75 families received assistance during the payout.
With utmost appreciation, Ms. Yolanda Magadia of San Juan, Batangas expressed her gratitude for the Department’s initiative of bridging social services of national government agencies to aid them with their daily needs.

Ms. Simel Parales of Rosario, Batangas also recognized the support’s impact on their lives in meeting their day-to-day needs.
