4,032 BENEFICIARIES RECEIVE AID THROUGH TUPAD SALARIES AT BALAYAN, BATANGAS

A total of 4, 032 marginalized residents from 48 different barangays of Balayan, Batangas claimed their TUPAD salaries during a payout at Balayan, Batangas on February 12. 


With utmost appreciation, beneficiaries uttered their sincere thanksgiving for the opportunity of having a 10-day temporary employment with a salary of Php 5,600.00 

“Malaking tulong”. This is how the beneficiaries remarked after receiving the fruits of their community work.

With the TUPAD program of the Department of Labor and Employment IV-A Batangas Provincial Office (DOLE BPO), the underemployed, vulnerable, and informal sector workers acquired temporary sources of income while serving their communities.


According to DOLE BPO Labor and Employment Officer III, Ms. Salvacion Kalalo, beneficiaries the mode of payment will be through the provision of Palawan transaction codes.

"Matapos i-verify ng DOLE, maaari (ninyo) na rin makuha ang Php 5,600 (sahod) ngayon mismo dito sa venue dahil kasama na natin ang ating partner remittance center ," Kalalo shared during the brief orientation.

Furthermore, DOLE personnel also reminded the beneficiaries that they should receive the full amount of their salaries as payment for the services rendered.


“Kung kayo po ay pinipilit, pwede po kayong magreklamo o mag-file ng complaint sa amin syempre po dapat ay may ebidensya,” Ms. Kalalo added.


TUPAD is an emergency employment program of DOLE that aims to assist displaced workers, underemployed individuals, and seasonal workers for a minimum of 10 days.
