DOLE BATANGAS RECEIVES RECOGNITION AS TOP PLACEMENT PARTNER AT GAWAD UBIAN 2026

The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Batangas Provincial Office was officially recognized as one of the Top Placement Partners during the prestigious Gawad UBIAN 2026, hosted by the University of Batangas – Lipa City, 19 June 2026
The award highlighted DOLE’s invaluable contributions to expanding employment opportunities, streamlining the transition from graduation to the workforce, and establishing robust career pathways for graduates and active jobseekers across the province as aligned with the overarching strategic vision and proactive leadership of Labor Secretary Francis ‘Tol’ Tolentino.

On behalf of the DOLE, Ms. Ricaela F. Salazar, Labor and Employment Officer II of DOLE Batangas, formally accepted the plaque of recognition during the ceremony.
Through collaboration with various job placement offices including that of the University of Batangas Lipa City, the DOLE Batangas has successfully enhanced workforce readiness, employment facilitation, and career development targeted directly at empowering the Filipino youth.
This collaborative synergy is continuously driven through a variety of targeted grass-roots initiatives, including comprehensive job fairs that connect fresh graduates and jobseekers directly with local and international employers, as well as career guidance and coaching sessions designed to equip students with the necessary tools and mindsets to navigate modern corporate and industrial landscapes.
Furthermore, our office facilitates the dissemination of crucial, up-to-date labor market information regarding in-demand skills and emerging industry trends, alongside the implementation of structured government pathways that effectively streamline local recruitment and hiring processes.
The provincial office emphasized that this latest milestone reflects DOLE’s unyielding commitment to public service excellence and the promotion of decent, productive employment opportunities nationwide.
