According to Ms. Salvacion Kalalo, Provincial Focal Person of TUPAD in Batangas, coordinators facilitated payouts through remittance center transaction codes covering 14 areas in the province from February 11 to 20, 2026.
Prior to the release of wages, beneficiaries completed community service work and earned daily compensation equivalent to their rendered services. To further assist claimants, payout caravans were also organized on various dates in Lipa City, particularly for Lipeños, where nearly 4,000 beneficiaries are concentrated.

Meanwhile, the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) CALABARZON – Batangas Provincial Office issued a public advisory, posted on the DOLE Batangas official Facebook page on February 15, reminding all TUPAD beneficiaries that they must receive their wages in full.
The agency stressed that any deduction from TUPAD salaries is strictly prohibited. No official, staff member, coordinator, or any individual is authorized to collect or subtract any amount from beneficiaries’ pay.

Aside from the online advisory, the DOLE personnel also conduct routinary reminder to all beneficiaries against illegal deductions during the TUPAD payout. (S. Masangkay)
DOLE also warned beneficiaries to immediately report anyone who pressures, intimidates, or attempts to prevent them from receiving the full amount of their wages. Complaints may be reported through the DOLE Hotline (1349), the DOLE Batangas TUPAD Hotline (0926-071-6772), or directly at the DOLE Batangas office in Marawoy, Lipa City.
The office emphasized that workers’ right to proper compensation is protected and encouraged the public to remain vigilant and promptly report any violations.
