DOLE BATANGAS EQUIPS 25 OFFICERS OF PEACE AND DEVELOPMENT OPERATION TEAM ON dileep

The Department of Labor and Employment Regional Office 4A - Batangas Provincial Office (DOLE BPO) conducted an orientation of the DOLE Integrated Livelihood and Emergency Employment Program (DILEEP) to 25 officers of the Peace and Development Operation Team from District 1 and District 2 of Quezon Province as well as in the whole of Batangas Province at the headquarters of the 59th Infantry (Protector) Battalion, 2ID, PA, at Brgy. Tulos, Rosario, Batangas, on March 24.


During the program, members of the DOLE BPO Integrated Livelihood Program (DILP) unit headed by Labor and Employment Officer III, Ms. Salvacion Kalalo, and Livelihood Development Specialist (LDS) Robert Rodelas discussed the application process for availing the livelihood assistance from the department.


Furthermore, DILP Focal Person, Ms. Kalalo, also shed light on the accreditation procedure for registering as a Rural Worker Association (RWA) in DOLE.

Furthermore, Ms. Kalalo emphasized the responsibilities of the would-be Accredited Co-Partners (ACPs), including the task of submitting the complete documents for liquidation within 60 days after receiving the assistance.

As for the organization of the Peace and Development Operations Team, DOLE representatives shared that interested cooperative and individual beneficiaries may apply and avail of the said program if they meet the eligibility and compliance with the requirements of the aforementioned livelihood assistance.


“Dahil po sa inyo ay mas lalong makakarating sa mga kababayan natin sa laylayan at kabundukan ang mga programa ni DOLE upang mas marami pa ang ating matulungan. Sa mga aktibidad nating ito, mas lalo nilang mararamdaman na kahit nsa pinakamalayo man silang sulok o lugar, hindi p rin sila nakakalimutan ng gobyerno pagdating sa mga programa nito,” Ms. Kalalo remarked.


Aside from DOLE officers, representatives from the Department of Environment and Natural Resources Batangas headed by Forester III, Flordeliza Olave, also acted as resource speakers of the activity.

The Peace and Development Operation Team of the 59th Infantry (Protector) Battalion, 2ID, PA, continually reaches out to prospective partners, like the DOLE and DENR, to promote and boost economic activities in the community by assisting their members in their livelihood undertakings.
