DOLE BATANGAS INTENSIFIES PUBLIC SERVICE THROUGH NEWEST SATELLITE OFFICE IN BALAYAN, BATANGAS

In its continued commitment to bringing public service closer to the people, the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Batangas Provincial Office proudly launched its newest Satellite Office on the 1st Floor of the Salakot Building, Balayan Government Center, Brgy. Caloocan, Balayan, Batangas.

The DOLE banner is now proudly displayed on the 1st Floor of the Salakot Building in Balayan Government Center, marking the official presence of the DOLE Batangas Satellite Office and its commitment to serving the local community.

Gracing the opening ceremony were DOLE Batangas Provincial Director Predelma Tan, Senior Labor and Employment Officer Darius Allan Lubis, and Labor and Employment Officer III April Rose Magpantay, along with Social Amelioration and Welfare Program (SAWP) coordinators and DOLE community facilitator. 

In her speech, Director Tan expressed her gratitude to the Local Government Unit of Balayan, Batangas, for providing the agency with adequate space to which it can cater clients not only from their municipality but also from nearby local government units.

Also present were representatives from the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Balayan, including the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) Manager and selected LGU employees, all of whom expressed strong support for this initiative. Their presence affirms the spirit of collaboration between national agencies and local governments in uplifting the lives of Batangueños.

Director Tan led the opening of the newest satellite office of DOLE Batangas in Balayan, Batangas, in partnership with local government unit representatives.

The newly established office is a significant step toward decentralizing labor and employment services, making them more accessible to residents in the western municipalities of Batangas. 

Moreover, by bringing DOLE closer to clients in the first congressional district of Batangas, the Satellite Office addresses long-standing barriers such as travel distance, service delays, and information gaps, ultimately providing faster and more efficient public service for all sectors of society.

The very first client of the newly opened DOLE Batangas Satellite Office in Balayan inquires about their rights as a construction worker, assisted by Officer of the Day, Senior Labor and Employment Officer Mr. Darius Allan Lubis.

The Balayan Satellite Office is now officially open to serve the public from Monday to Friday, reaffirming DOLE’s commitment to responsive, community-centered public service.
