DOLE BPO holds Wage Orientation in Batangas city

LOOK: The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) CALABARZON through its Batangas Provincial Office (BPO), conducted a wage orientation in OCVAS Research Center, Bolbok, Batangas City, July 29.

During the morning session, 82 participants from different companies joined the orientation.

To accommodate more employees and management representatives, DOLE BPO conducted another batch of orientation sessions with 69 participants in the afternoon.

Mr. Gener Rivera, Labor and Employment Officer III of the Regional Tripartite Wage and Productivity Board (RTWPB), discussed the important content of Wage Order No. IV-A-19.

Moreover, Mr. Rivera also tackled the Exponential and Cut-off methods in resolving the wage distortion issues.

DOLE hopes that through the orientation, attendees will have a clearer grasp of the salient features of the new wage order.
