DOLE IV-A, NATIONAL UNIVERSITY LIPA FORGE MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT ESTABLISHING BATANGAS’ NEWEST JOB PLACEMENT OFFICE

The Department of Labor and Employment IV-A CALABARZON and the National University (NU) Lipa formally forged its partnership in creating the newest job placement office in the province of Batangas during the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing ceremony held in the Case Room, NU Lipa City, Batangas, February 28.

Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) IV-A Regional Director Atty. Erwin N. Aquino led the signing of the MOA with the NU Lipa Academic Director, Mr. Bernie Fabito, and the newest JPO Manager, Dr. Rowena Alcoba.

In his partnership message, Director Atty. Aquino emphasized the roles of JPOs in fulfilling the DOLE's mission of promoting full employment for all.

"Our partnership is more than a formal agreement; it is a commitment to innovation, growth, and development. We are dedicated to nurturing an environment where students can thrive, one where they are provided with the resources and support needed to navigate the complex landscape of career opportunities," he remarked.

As witnesses, DOLE Batangas Provincial Director Predelma Tan, Batangas Province Federation of Public Employment Service Office Managers Inc. Executive Vice President, Mr. Noel Silang also joined the activity.

The National University Lipa will serve as the fifth JPO in the province of Batangas alongside other established offices including the Rizal College of Taal, Batangas State University - The National Engineering University, Lyceum of the Philippine University - Batangas, and the University of Batangas.
