Rochelle Yeban, 22, who hails from Brgy Rillo, Tuy, Batangas, relates, “Nakakapagod pero nahire ako on the spot, worth it yung pila nang maaga.”

After being unemployed for 2 months, she also expressed her gratitude to DOLE Batangas and its partners for coming up with a job fair that’s beneficial to job seekers like her. As simple as it may seem, she wishes to be hired by a company with good benefits and 13th-month pay. By being hired, she can help her parents, who are both unemployed, to provide for the needs of their family.

Another applicant from Nasugbu, Batangas, Melanie Cayubit, was also hired immediately.  She, who used to work in a manufacturing company that stopped operations last December, eagerly shared that she’s been looking forward to being regularized in this new company. As a breadwinner, this job will help her siblings continue their education in the next school year. On top of that, she also wanted to help her family to sustain their needs.
