PESO, DOLE STRENGTHEN TIES THROUGH 3rd QUARTERLY MEETING

The Batangas Provincial Federation of PESO Managers Inc., and the Department of Labor and Employment - Batangas Provincial Office held their 3rd Quarter PESO Meeting at the Residence Hall, Metro Rei Business Park, Palindan, Ibaan, Batangas, September 5.

DOLE Director Predelma Tan graced the said activity and, in her speech, expressed her utmost appreciation to the contributions of every PESO and JPO in attaining the mission and vision of the Department in achieving full, decent, and productive employment for all.

In attendance as well, Ibaan Mayor Jane Casas, host of the event, reiterated the Local Government Unit of Ibaan’s continued support for DOLE’s initiatives.

During the meeting, DOLE Batangas Provincial Employment Unit Focal Person, Ms. April Magpantay, presented the accomplishments of the Province of Batangas in terms of referral and placement, career development support program, and labor market information, as well as other matters relating to public employment service.

After the discussions, the DOLE Batangas recognized outstanding Public Employment Service Offices and Job Placement Offices in terms of the implementation of their core functions and submission of accurate monthly employment reports.
